Agree with Inka, something like Avenir or ITC Bauhaus as well as the Chalet series are all good choices to work from.
As for the mark, I definitely like the direction and creativity, but the first thing I thought of was church (the cross, Jesus Christ). I imagined what it might look like if you separated the upper part of the "t" (e.g. like a + symbol) from the rest and still have the initials clearly visible without it looking like a Christian symbol. But, I am not sure whether it's just me making that connection. Either way, love the direction you're going for.

The mark is nice. The font definitely needs to be san serif, clean, with round quality to it. Avenir might work.
