    The more I look at this, the less I like it. I think the pairing has potential, but the way I've handled it here is bugging me.

    The Kepler Light doesn't feel light enough to be used so large. There's no skinnier Kepler available for web use (yet), but perhaps if I had made it a dark gray instead of black, it would have felt lighter.

    The problem came from the assemblage rather than Kepler contrast. Switch to a geometrical or grotesk style sanserif… just to check the validity of my comment :)

  4. Jean François was totally right. This looks better.

    Now that I think about it, I remember hearing this advice before: to pair geometric sans-serifs with high-contrast serifs. I'd love to know more about why this works. Because when I found CamingoDos, it seemed to have structural similarities with Kepler ... and that method of finding pairings often works for me too.
