Mississippi Riverboat Cruise – Process

Loved creating this illustrated logo for Mount Hermon Association Inc. Early American steamboats, riverboats, and the culture of the early 1800's are all so fascinating. I enjoyed diving into some history books for reference photos and to better understand river transportation along the Mighty Mississippi for fun! :)

You may notice two words in the design that we now know cannot coexist: "Cruise" and "2020." So sadly, this special Riverboat Cruise was canceled due to COVID-19. Still a very enjoyable process!
