    The second one calls to itself more than the first. It depends on what you want, but the first one looks nicer on its own.

    I like #1. Sometimes the top edge of type is fuzzier, so if you want that crisp shadow, you could convert the type to a path, zoom in, and nudge the path until you have a straight edge.

    Too late now, but here's my two cents anyways. Both look great. The top one feels like it's simply informing me of it's message. The bottom one feels like it inviting me to click it. Guess it depends on the message of your site.

    I agree with Zach, I think the text having a drop shadow below it makes it more clickable. The top one looks like it is in the 'active' state.
