I like! :D
Thanks a lot for this. It fits exactly with what I had in my mind as a mixture between the old and the new icon.
Very slick! I think the interior shading you did really adds something nice that the current Chrome icon lacks.
This is definitely an improvement, reminds me a lot of a circular version of Kaleidoscope, http://www.kaleidoscopeapp.com/ at least the dimensionality and shading. obviously not as bright though. Nice work.
Amazing work :)
Say, that's a very interesting shading technique... would you be interested in making a tiny tutorial on how to achieve such a gradient?
There is a PSD here on how to achieve such effect.
I get the idea but it doesn't sit right with me. Probably because I hated the original chrome logo
Still, it came together nicely.
Very polished, but i can't quite work out what sort of surface the shadows and highlights are trying to suggest. Appears to be quite a hard edged object to 'touch'... which seems odd to me considering old-chrome was veery curved and spherical and the new one is flat and round. Pet peeve!
Oh, thanks for the heads up Jean-Marc... I'll be uncovering your deepest and darkest gradient secrets now ;)
Ohhh, I'm replacing my icon right now. This is awesome dude!
awesome! definitely an improvement over the new logo. looks great on my dock!
Absolutely perfect, thank you so much for sharing :)
Google should replace Chrome icon with this one.
its more gorgeous than what chrome have.
