So this is what I've been working on for the last little while... I'm really happy with the way it's turned out... Using a lot of CSS3 to progressively enhance the experience for those with more modern browsers, and of course, identical functionality for those older browsers.
Jesse, this looks absolutely awesome. The animation is sweet and you did a great job with the pin objects, they look great, the map looks great. Congrats!
So I loved the Worldview site by @Jesse and was inspired for a project I am currently working on. Now, where's the line for something like this?
I don't currently intend to use this for a project, just wondering what other's thoughts are on what counts as "crossing the line".
I suspect this does, since it's folded in to 4 pieces and in a very similar way. What do you think? It's especially hard when it comes to maps. If I gave it more folds does that differentiate it enough? Is it how it's used?

Anyways, if you're keen, check it out (and the demo too)!

Amazing. I've been wanting to try something almost exactly like this for a few weeks and could not dream up how to pull it off.
