Inspired by Simon, I bought a Wacom tablet. It's been twenty years since I really used a brush real or virtual. Using this device feels strange and it's like I'm in 3rd grade art class all over again.
Ok, this piece is done. Considering I haven't painted in decades I like how this ended up. By the way, inspiration was provided by Jasper John's "Flag". A print hangs just to the right of my desk.

So I suppose now would be an awkward time to bring up Jim Lee's first pass at painting on the iPad? ;)

I haven't used my Wacom tablet for a couple of years. I should pull it out and see what develops.
