Oy! This is fantastic! Only thing id change is darker the colors of the "grass" and 'roots" - they are a bit too saturated or bloody imo.

My eye keeps going straight for that empty space in the middle. I'd either place something in the middle there (maybe the since 1983) or bring the banners a bit closer and reduce the space.
