Making an angry birds icon to practice & experiment with shading.
Also, I didn't like having an angry bird sitting in my dock, so it's happy instead.

haha :D cool
Wow. The colours are spot on. And great work on the shadows.
Looks like they're stoned, in a happy way, which I like!
This is really cool!
Very nice work! I'ld love to see a version without the feather texture though :)
Wow, I LOVE it!
Red Bird before the Egg Story. Right?
I love the shading, and especially feather texture. But please, make it less unhappy.
Fantastic job on the shadings!

@Radu Vucea GIMP :D
@Ollin Cool ! I was curios if it was raster or vector, the software is less important :)
Stunning work! GIMP? O_O
@AndyTheJoker Yup. Just like all of my icons. And that means no vector masks, no layer styles or adjustment layers, no 3d tools, no cage transforms, not even layer groups :P
@Ollin GOD DAMN :D And clients, what they say? :D Just curious ;)
@AndyTheJoker Clients learn not to ask for PSDs. I work cheap-ish so they don't really care, and I'm not doing web/UI design where sending the PSD is important. I get away with sending along an ICNS and a bunch of PNGs. So far, they've never needed a size above 1024px.
@Ollin Thanks for the explanation buddy!
The style for this is really interesting and creative. Well done.
