    As Tim kindly pointed out, iPad wallpaper needs to be 1024px square — sadly, this means no "With text" version of the wallpaper for iPad users... at least, not without the text being on its side in one orientation.

    I'll probably play with adding a version with text once I have my iPad (tomorrow night).

    Not so. The wallpaper still rotates, it just needs the larger dimension squared to prevent unbecoming resizing. The smaller dimension squared is your safe area.

    @Shaun: oh, wait. I completely mis-imagined (I can say that, right?) how it would work — so the center portion maintains the same orientation (meaning, up is always up) as the iPad rotates?

    Now you can have one with text on your lock screen, and without text for your wallpaper. Booyah.
