NetBase Enterprise: Executive Dashboard

A major global retailer needed a way to share information with their managers and C-Level employees without giving them access to the raw data in the main platform

The original idea of the dashboard was to simply give a snapshot view of a saved search or topic via email only. As we continued to work with the client who requested the feature, we realized making a page where people could see the information more as a dashboard as well would both give more visibility to the data but also allow users more flexibility in how they received it

We believe analysts within the platform will benefit from this dashboard by reducing the time they need to take building reports for other teams

We believe non enterprise users who use this dashboard will have more insight into social data and will reduce the need for requests to analysts for data

The idea of whether to make this a live dashboard, like our pulse product, or more of a static report that would need to be refreshed, was a topic that had differing viewpoints across the team

We decided to make it more a live dashboard because that seemed to fit the use case given to us by our major client more than a static page did.
