Device Launches (Mobile)

The initial concepts for the mobile pages for the launches of these two devices was not approved by the client. We needed to rework them to be more in line with the current desktop websites

New mobile pages will be more in line with the desktop experience and be signed off on by client

I originally was sketching ideas on a whiteboard and was having problems getting the team to understand what I was trying to draw. Thats when we moved to paper prototyping, seen here. That seemed to help them understand how the components would look and work at smaller sizes since we just duplicated the desktop webpages at 50%

We believe that bringing the mobile sites in alignment with the desktop sites will bring consistency of tone and content to the entire launch

The team I came on to assist with this was extremely worried as one set of ideas was already turned down by the client so they were extremely sensitive to feedback that was seen as negative or different than what they expected

I had to walk a delicate line here. Ultimately how this was handled was a compromise between what I would normally do and how I would normally want to work as a designer and the combination of a short turn around on the project and the team's sensitivies
