Darc Kraft - BoxKutter 🔪

I’ve always found pocket knife designs to be really interesting, so I decided to have a go myself, just for fun. This may not come as a surprise, but I went for something that has a little bit of a zombie apocalypse vibe to it. It was really fun approaching an illustration more like an industrial designer, making it more practical and believable. Here goes… 🧟‍♂️🔪

"The Darc Kraft BK ‘BoxKutter’ Utility M1 is a military knife with sectioned blades, much like a traditional craft knife, but far more robust. The scored blades are made from durable, but slightly more affordable 8Cr13MoV steel and can be snapped off (using significant force) to reveal a fresh sharp edge. The blades in their entirety are also replaceable (using the oversized blade lock) for when you’re on-the-go and unable to sharpen them manually. A finger loop, combined with a knurled G10 handle cover, ensures the perfect grip, and the built-in carabiner makes it versatile and easy to carry around. The BK Ulitity M1 weights in at roughly 85g, and measures 175mm in length when fully extended."
