    @Michel - I agree. It's just that it's more challenging to achieve the same result in illustrator.

    Absolutely agree! I think you can achieve same result(s) in Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator. And how easily you will come up with the end result will depend on type of illustration and your level of mastering a specific app... :)
