I drew this for two (comic-loving) friends that got married this weekend. Adam is a HUGE fan of Kitty Pride from the X-men. If you are not familiar with her and her mutant ability the best way to sum it up is she can walk through walls.
Within the last year or so there was a Spider-man story that involve Peter Parker having a relationship with Kitty Pride. So I thought I would depict the two of them web swinging and Spidey gets a little too close to a building and Kitty Pride has to “phase” through it.
I used Faber-Castell PITT artist pens and brush markers to ink and shade over my blue-line penciling. And if you are wondering, my family and I did get them a proper gift to accompany this crummy little drawing I made.
Actually, that's not a joke. In 2000, when Marvel launched a new Spidey series called, Ultimate Spider-man, they retold the tale of Spider-man in a modern setting. Instead of a photographer for the Daily Bugle, Peter is a Web designer. See this screenshot from the Wikipedia entry here

Hahaha I love this. I do know Kitty Pride so this put a smile on my face the moment I saw it. Very nice, not crummy at all!

Ok, that's pretty darn cheesy, Marvel.
