wip for a company that sells sail racing boats parts. Are you able to spot the hidden seagull?

***Whistle*** Lookin' tite and clean!
***echo whistle*** thnx Patrick!
looks simple & slick. can't seem to find the seagull tho.?. is it in the negative space?
Luke, if I told you the little circle is the eye, can you work it out by yourself?
Guess you meant it http://i.min.us/imxMLA.jpg Thomas:)
To be honest I wouldn't think about seagull if you didn't mention it. I see yacht. Anyway I love this mark
that's exactly how you should look at it to spot the seagull :) I don't mind it if not everyone sees it straight away, since it's only a subtle link to the fact that they also do logistics. But the main message has to be focused on the boat, since they function as a selling platform for sail racing parts.
@Thomas I knew the white circle was the eye, just cant see the rest of the oke.it still conveys that vibe anyway.wait...is the sail the wing?and hes facing left?
Jep :) have a look at Sergey's url, he had it spot on
yea i checked it, had to make sure tho. :)
My infantile art doesn't worth seeing:)
No need to be humble about your awesome brush skills ;)
Gooood stuff! I love the simplicity, man! And it comes across clean!
This is great Thomas! I did see the seagull but it took a while to get it. I think that if you could add another, smaller sail in front to help give more definition to the wing, it would help the visual concept. Smashing work though ole chap!
OH FRICK, THERE'S A SEAGULL THERE! WOW! THAT IS SO AWESOME!!

Playing around with a second proposal (early stage). Here is the feedback I received from my client on the first concept.

"In general I like the ideal and the simplicity of what you created. We both agree that we like the general ideal but think that the seagull approach is a little to strong because we do mainly sell parts and offer a platform, the logistics are a small part of what we do. Keep in mind that there are other companies that only do shipping of boats and parts, and we dont want to fall into that category. Also we are missing the racing part."
Would appreciate some thoughts on this one, thanks in advance.
