Love the colour scheme and the textures. To me the red text is fine, although it could use a little custom kerning between the N and I. Not sure about the white font. Have you tried a serif? Anyway, good work!

@Ben: yeah..I'm not sold on the white font either.. I was using Sentinel before...I think I'm gonna try to convince the client to go back to it.

Did you try any serif in a black weight? Whitman looks especially nice in black italic, you can see the text at MyFonts. It’s of course equally nice in a roman weight. :-)

Here's where this landed: liked the all-caps futura alt. for the name, but backed off the transparency a little...
