BC is an international shopping destination in Orlando that caters mostly to Brazilian tourists. They were in need of an entirely new brand image as well as print collateral and a fully responsive, e-commerce website.
Due to their varied product lineup ( electronics, watches, sunglasses, perfume, and handbags) The branding had to be non specific while visually communicating “shopping” to an international audience. The idea of using a sale tag was briefly considered and then discarded to avoid comparisons with Best Buy. Any representations of money were also avoided as money can be considered a taboo subject to some international visitors. The shopping bag was the logical conclusion and I felt perfectly summed up the new, modern identity BC was searching for.
