very nice, I really like all the gradients. looking forward to seeing more (and to see the temperature back up there again ;) )

That's really strong - the only part that bugs me is the top area, where the grey overlaps the map.
Everything on the app is pixel perfect - really precise lines, and the shadow at the top makes it blurry.
maybe drop the opacity down so there is a defined edge but still a separation?
That's a good point Manik. I think I'll toy around with adding a stroke similar to the bottom part of that bar to give it more separation.
