My new logo. Just a "G". Simple and clean. Thicker version at the suggestion of @Jonathan Wängström. Thoughts?
I wrote a bit and took a few photos of my process on this over on my blog.

Thicker is better.
Liking that a lot more. I also feel like it will show up clearer for smaller applications.
Agreed. Thanks @Jonathan Wängström!
Definitely like the heavier weight.
Looks even better! Well done man.
Did you tried adding a little horizontal line on the "g" (where the opening is) so it could be also like a "G" (uppercase)?
Just and idea...
I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself very well :P
@Garrett Godsey I had the same thought as @Madelein Araya, then it'd be a double G! This is great as is, but it'd be interesting to see the variation! And thicker is better ;D
@Madelein Araya @Lain Lee 3 i'll try that out!
That's similar to how I do the G when I sign my name, you can see it here.
Yours is a lot smoother though, I dig it :-)
Really like the curve and the shadow! The flat version on your card is another nice feel there.

Love it, simple & effective curve.
