    Lovely experiement!

I'd probably make the red line a bit bolder so it's more prominent.

I've always wondered what the technique was with these metal knobs. Is this a single graident applied?

u draw the dark triangles, the 4 of them, and then u play around with the radial blur filter and if needed some gaussian blur to smooth the edges a bit, the same with the bright areas, and thats basically it, the rest its trying stuff out with colors, gradients, etc, thats the method i've learned at least :P

If you don't mind, I'm going to rebound this perhaps this weekend and see if I can get the technique. Thanks for the tips :)

  9. After seeing Matias Gallipoli's awesome shot "late night practice" I had my very own bit of practice, trying to get the metal effect as close as possible. Playing with bright leds as usual.

Later edit : minor center-gradient issue is fixed in the attachment! Cheers.
