u draw the dark triangles, the 4 of them, and then u play around with the radial blur filter and if needed some gaussian blur to smooth the edges a bit, the same with the bright areas, and thats basically it, the rest its trying stuff out with colors, gradients, etc, thats the method i've learned at least :P
After seeing Matias Gallipoli's awesome shot "late night practice" I had my very own bit of practice, trying to get the metal effect as close as possible. Playing with bright leds as usual.
Later edit : minor center-gradient issue is fixed in the attachment! Cheers.
