Nice icons, I like them! Will you use any dark overlay above the album covers if the album cover is completely white?

I respectfully don't like it, looks way too busy to me. It's a personal opinion. I dig you put a style there, but it bores me just to think about looking at these screens after a month.
The icons do look awesome and I look forward to seeing more of your work though :)

I disagree @Rodrigo Grundig . So many music players are boring, flat and uninteresting. Not this one. This looks fun to use. I can imagine myself just clicking different albums just to see how the colors and backgrounds change. good job Cosmin

@Steve White I totally get your point. At the end of the day its a matter of personal taste. I'm more inclined to a "timeless", cleaner look on interfaces, be it flat or not (not a flat defensor here). I like more elegant-ish interfaces such as Alexey Masalov's concept, for example, which incorporates the album art better imo (http://www.behance.net/gallery/iOS-7-Redesign-Concept/10341233). But I more than encourage different approaches and concepts, because that's what drives our industry forward (except for long shadows!). take care :P

@Rodrigo Grundig @Steve White - I love the idea of being able to see the album cover or branded photography with the album/song you are listening to. I feel like album art has been lost ever since things became mainstream digital... It allows the music to carry a feeling along with it that the artist originally intended.
