Cover for a magazine I'm working on - I'm still pretty new to magazine covers, meaning that feedback is more than welcome.

Looks great mate, the blue color really shines through. :)
I think maybe the human is taking up too much of the focus, compared to the logo and the different story headings. Of course you could argue that this is not a bad thing, but still I am more or less only seeing the person and not so much the headings that reveal what I can read in the magazine.
@Mads E. U. Sorensen - I get what you're saying, but I also like the attention it gives the design. I will play around with it some more. Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
@Steffen Nørgaard Andersen - Youre welcome, sir. :) And I know what you mean. Thats also why I say "maybe". One would have to make different iterations and compare them.
Hahahahah Åh Steffen - Narcissisten. Det ér nogle fine billeder.. ;)
@maria ladegaard Hahahha, kæft :P
It's nice. I like the fact that it's so easy to approach - and the design really leads the eye so you receive all the information you need without any struggle. I'm not sure whether I like the overlapping butterfly or not ... ;)
@Mads Egmose I had my doubts as well regarding the butterfly, but it just turned out too boring without it and somehow the text stands out more, even though some of it is actually hidden. Thank you very much for the feedback and kind words!
@Steffen Nørgaard Andersen, is this for an actual current issue magazine? I've never heard of Art Director Magazine...and if one is out there, it's awesome!!
@Nikita Prokhorov At the moment it's still fictional I'm afraid - It would be nice to bring it alive though :-)
I'd recommend making the issue current then. It's already November. ;)
@Nikita Prokhorov I actually meant to write 2014 :P
Oh and regarding the cover itself...I'd make the name of the AD represented on the cover bolder. If I was Steffen Norg....err...yeah, him, I'd want the name to be more prominent. From far away, next to other magazines on the bookshelf, it would blend in with all the others because the hierarchy isn't clearly established.
I agree with @Nikita Prokhorov on making 'Steffen Norgaard Andersen' a tad bolder. Other than that, it is wonderful! The shade of blue on the dark background is gorgeous.
@Samuel Boothby Thanks a lot!
I like it ! I see what you did with Steffen Nørgaard Andersen text on the left but if the font was a bit more thick, the effect would be more enhanced, now it is not clear enough that your text is going behind the bowtie but looks like the text is not too visible because of the image behind.
