iMessage improvement concept

This is a concept I came up with which illustrates how iMessage can be improved a little. Currently, if someone texts me their username in Twitter or Instagram, it will appear as plain text and I'll have to copy it manually, then go to the app myself. I suggest highlighting the @username, making it a link, so that it can be opened in any of the social apps installed. Certainly, this idea extends beyond iOS and will work great on any mobile platform.
