    very cool... the reason i ask is that i am working on my first iOS app and I am trying to get used the higher resolution of the retina display vs. my years of experience designing for the desktop screen. more specifically, i am trying to find the right settings in photoshop to achieve subtle inset areas with highlight and shadow.

    i noticed some other app shots you have posted... any thoughts on this?

    @John, I highly recommend just taking screenshots of your favorite apps and then loading them in Photoshop and seeing how they do it and trying to mimic those styles. You'll learn a ton! :)
