Please don't check out the "@2x" version - because there's none!

First of all, i am not into physical product design at all - so please be kind (i know it looks basically like the bastard child of a Fuel Band and an iPhone) :)

After several weeks with my new fuel band and a quiet disappointing revamp last week it got me thinking what functions i would love to see in a so called "smartwatch" like this - not that many actually.
But I really liked the idea of wrapping the Interface around the wrist and have something like the clickwheel rotating around my arm. The main problem is, i love the form-factor of the fuel band but would it be practical to read more text than "GOAL" or even interact with it? If the possibilities are just swipe and tap i'm sure it's possible but a watch has to be something that people like to use and i am not quiet convinced if this would be the fact.
But what we've seen so far is either ugly or stupid or both - and the conclusions gonna be: smartwatches are just pricy unnecessary gimmicks, until "somebody" will teach us better :)

don't see how you can use mail "around the arm" ;) but I like the idea very much. If this wristband will be able to replace the phone - would prefer to use it with tablet.

Great execution, although all of this would be displayed vertically while on your wrist.

looks awesome! but would it be usable? i dunno.. to use it, your arm would be at a pretty awkward angle. thats the main problem with the fuelband imo. watches normally have the 9-3 axis parallel with the arm, because it allows your arm to be in a natural position when you use it

This is so good! I mean the product is self is simple and beautiful. And on top of that the UI model is really elegant and I can understand it (i think) just from the simple animation. Swipe left and right to nav between apps, tap or swipe up/down to drill in/out of apps. Did I get it right??? :)

Really nice concept. But I agree with @Chris Slowik with the fact that it would be very awkward to read anything as you would have to twist your arm so much. Solve it vertically, and I´ll buy it:) But other than that. Really nice job man! Keep it up!

Sexy, but is it usable? I don't know that I would want to hold my wrist at that angle. Would be interesting to test. Sweet look though.
