Hey Dribbble! For my debut shot I decided to take Fabio's iPhone 6 Infinity concept and apply the intuitive edge to edge design to Apple's Macbook Pro. I hope you guys like the outcome as much as I do! Stay tuned for more shots! So excited to be a part of this amazing community.

Great debut! Welcome.
besides looking good (depends to everybodies pov), what is the practical purpose of such a concept? why should the sides and the back of the body of the screen work here a screen as well? I respect the work and effort you've put into that, but since I'm a product designer from origin his concept is just ... looking good but leads no practical plus, even worse, as well as the infinite iPhone idea, it does not solve problems, it makes up an huge amount of new ones (production-wise and also for the ux). so where's the point here? Again, nothing to put you down, but just a honest feedback/question. and btw - welcome to the community.
@Axel Herrmann You make great points and I respect your critic! Yes, the concept does have flaws, but the idea behind the shot was just to create a unique futuristic design concept for the Macbook. The design might by far fetched but I think the idea behind the edge to edge concept is really interesting so I decided to apply it to a laptop. Additionally, the back of the laptops body would not be a screen as well, as I believe there is no point for this and for protective purposes, it should be a solid material. Once again thank you.
Nice to see you here, Noah! ;)
one day it'll be true! especially with those new flexible screens samsung is playing with.
@Noah Arc I think @Axel Herrmann was spot on. It's a beautiful rendition of a tested concept, but I think the "idea behind the shot" was more along the lines of "that looked really cool when that one guy did this to an iphone, so let's do it to a macbook." Heck, at least change up the color palette! Welcome to the game, Noah, I'm sure you'll have some incredible shots to share in the future, based on your work here. My issue is with the game - I'd rather see a hail Mary than watch the whole Dribbble community continue to run the ball up the center.
Thank you @Emily - could not have said it better.
@Emily Brophy Word!
goood job bro ;)
very nice, welcome!
We're all doomed if this concept ever extends to toilet design.
Thank you everyone for the comments, support, and feedback!
Nice first shot! Welcome :)
