Work in progress logo for a school project to rebrand EA Games. I've always felt like their current logo is a little bit too harsh for what it is, and it definitely feels dated (especially with how they apply it across products).
I wanted to keep enough of the current logo's DNA, but bring it up to date and make it feel more friendly, open, and playful.

That's really good.
One thing that sticks out a bit is the radius on A's top corners vs. all other corners. Though it may look odd if A's corners are squared to match.
Really really nice regardless. Very simple and that E totally makes for a unique and likable logo.
Fresh. I love the E! I absolutely can't stand the current EA logo! Argggh!
Quick note: I like how you brought the split up E style from the current EA logo to this one, but the A feels a little plain... I love the direction though. Nice work, dude!
Thanks for the comments @Alex Pankratov and @Corey Michaud.
I'll work on fixing those corners on the A, good eye.
I was struggling to make the a feel different without making it look like an R, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks again!
Really great. The corner radius keeps the playfulness. LOVE it.

The final mark and some of the deliverables from my EA Games rebrand project. As stated before: I wanted to keep enough of the current logo's DNA, but bring it up to date and make it feel more friendly, open, and playful.
Please feel free to checkout the full project and leave comments as you see fit! Cheers.
