Love the popup. It's beautiful.
I like the idea of using the text size to differentiate minutes from seconds, but it's a little jarring to me to see the time represented so differently in two places so close together.
It looks like the pause symbol in the menu bar shows that iTunes is paused, while the play symbol on the album art lets you start playing before the full time is up. If the time is steadily counting down, the user should already be aware iTunes is paused, and I feel a little odd about showing the pause symbol in the menubar and the play symbol over the album artwork at the same time. Could you do without the pause symbol in the menu bar while Take Five is doing its thing? Or is the pause symbol clickable, as in Billings, to resume without bringing up the full popup? What do we see when Take Five isn't doing anything?
