A bit more of this. Still a work in progress, but I couldn't resist the chance to dribbble something with the title "Ook", being my trademark and all.
Aside from the cork — which is a pattern made from a scanned cork coaster — everything else is hand painted using a Wacom tablet.

You need to work on lighting little bit:
make shadow of ape, rope and paper compatible..
And I think I recognize that paper stock from GoMedia Vector set, or am I wrong? :)

You are. I drew it from a scan of a piece of paper I ripped out of a notebook. I changed the light source after I did the paper. Everything else is consistent (as it's all illustrated from a single photograph). I just don't have the cast shadows from the rope yet.
