@Julian you're missing the point. You're not supposed to fill a home screen with your icons. They all have the same perspective, it's logical they will look consistent. The point of this exercise is to see your icon among "regular" icons and evaluate consistency, not "greatness". Check it out: http://dznr.org/h8q3

This icon is going to look very strange on the homescreen of an iOS device. Do you plan on showing the tops to all the other icons as well?
There have been a couple of themes like this that have come across MacThemes Forum and none of which have been successful.
