Did these tools exist while you where designing them? I mean how did the first guy even select the pen tool to make pen tool icon to begin with. (jokes FYI but it kinda does my head in to think about)
@Vaughan, most of them did exist. Aside from designing new icons for new tools like the Mesh, Blend, Symbol Sprayer, etc. I was also required to give them a new look-and-feel for the new creative suite that was being released, Adobe CS. Which is what you see in todays products. Before, they were aliased and plain black. I notice some of the the Photoshop CS5 tools are getting a new facelift now :-( but mine still live in Ai and other products.

Well that is a great job you did and still do. You were part of the designers who designed the programs all designers use. Thats a pretty big deal. :)
