Yeah you are and you should! How big are you thinking?
Nice work @Neil Tasker! Love those swashes.
One question: that swash to the left of the W looks like a letter by itself. Is there a reason why it's not connected to the first vertical stroke of the W? It looks a bit misleading on its own...my eyes almost want to see it as a separate character. Other than that...beautiful!
@Bob Ewing Thanks man, mailed out your stay gold yesterday. It will be a finished size of 8x8
@Nikita Prokhorov Thanks man!
Its actually a part of the uppercase letters within in engrosser script, This piece has derived from my practice with oblique pen. If you look at engrossers script examples you will see what I am talking about!
@Neil Tasker, it absolutely makes sense within that context. But in this context, it looks a bit off. Just my opinion, for what it's worth...;)
@Nikita Prokhorov well thank you for your opinion! always value that no doubt, but I am sticking with my own judgement on this one!
Thanks Neil, really appreciate it! Looking forward to getting my hands on this letterpress print in the near future.
@Neil, right on! Can't wait to see how this looks letterpressed.
This looks so lovely, Neil! Beautifully rendered.
Whoa, it reminds me of Doyald Young's stuff. And he was the KING. I like the sharp swash shape on the D, maybe add it to another part of the piece as well?
