Your sketch is better than my final hand drawing would be.
I love seeing your process. It seems so effortless for you! :)
awesome gif, I tend to work in the same manner of building from the center stroke, only problem is that sometimes spacing gets tight because you didn't anticipate enough room with the original, but over time Ive learned to see it ahead of time, if that makes any sense.
@Jonas Söder @Jeremiah Wingett - Thanks, guys!
@Neil Tasker - 1000%. I've only very recently started actually accounting for that the first time through, as opposed to having to adjust everything on the second pass, lol. It's tricky, but eventually, you just get that feel for it.
Beautiful work @Ryan Hamrick. What do use to make these gifs?
@Nikita Prokhorov - Thanks! Just iPhone, iMovie, Photoshop. :)
Fantastic Ryan, thanks for always sharing. I know you know first hand how invaluable little things like this can be. Cheers!
@Ryan Hamrick, that's too easy. Has to be much harder than that! ;)
Bad to the ass!
I really like this. Love to look back on my early days, when I learned all about calligraphy. Will never forget the rubber-band double-pencil. It really helped me to understand the concept of angles. Thx for taking me back to the 90's. :)
Your drafting is an art in itself. Awesome.
enjoyed this very much, thanks for posting ;)
which pen/pencil is this?
@Bob Ewing @kirk visola @Tanya Quintieri @Kris Jolls @Florin Capota - Thanks, y'all!
@Jenny Shen - It's a 2mm lead holder, this one specifically by Staedtler. You can find links to this and a bunch of other stuff I use here: http://ryanhamrick.com/things/ :)
thanks a lot!
