Finally I can share some work I've been working on since January.This one is for a startup called Progress.ly. It's about turning other process into your own progress. Share your progress visually & proactively with your team. These are some of logo concept I did to update the current logo. What do you think?

I like the purple, the black, and the red the best. I'm really feeling the purple one though.
@Josh Riser Thanks Josh
Nice logos. Honestly that "making a new business with the "ly" at the end of the name" is so damn overused. Just sayin'
The top left one is the best, but put the green arrow shown on the bottom left logo behind the "o" and get rid of the ly logo end.
Ones with purple and red background. Those are the solutions I like on the first look.
Agree, purple looks the best, simple and different
The problem with the purple one is that the progress bar in the "o" letter is not that obvious on a smaller size.
I really like the progress bar (above y) from the the blue concept but it is a little bit to short. you can try something like this maybe:
I also suggest when showing different concepts, try to use the same colors because this can affect the judgement and maybe the viewers choose a concept for the color rather than the shape/typography.
I must say i disagree completely with @Stefan Enache
First of all I don't mind the fact that the loader is not obvious at smaller sizes. It's cool to play it subtle, and the typography has enough character and feel to stand on "its own" at small sizes.
And on the suggestion to not use color in concept presentation is also disagree. I used to show stuff to clients in black and white or the same color, but lately i've been presenting concepts in multiple colors and i have found it very useful as clients seem to be able to focus more on the overall feel, concept and potential instead of minor details, which i think is great.
@Alexander Spliid unfortunately there is no real study regarding this matter. I searched this a while back and didn't find anything concrete. Just a couple of personal oppinions. If you know a good article regarding this, please post a link.
I wonder if we took the same six concepts and switch the colors what will happen.
Thanks for all your thoughts guys, @Stefan Enachen @Alexander Spliid thanks for constructive discussion. Since the the client still open on the branding I think it's fine if we present our ideas with different color. It would be different if the client already has preferred tone or color, in this case it would be better to present in monotone or BW.
I think that any branding is (usually) best with logo mark and am therefor a fan of the red one! Also I'd say the concept should evolve around "progress" and not "ly" as the latter has been done too many times now (not your fault ofc) Another reason why red is my fav!
May I be so bold as to ask the font? :)
