I started updating Shares for iOS 7. Here's the stock detail page.
I'm sourcing images and logos myself for the most popular stocks in Shares. It's all setup so I can add more later and it will show up for everyone without having to send out updates through the App Store or make the app download super huge.
The cover image does a neat parallax thing too. You'll have to check it out on a device once it comes out!

Looking brilliant! Great idea regarding the cover images.
Thanks so much, @Marc Edwards ✎ Bjango! @David Keegan suggested it. I think it makes a lot less boring stock app feeling :)
I really like this. Personally I would drop the label on the back button. I saw Instacast do this, and it looks pretty slick.
@Tim Smith I'll consider it. The HIG is pretty against this, but since there's only two levels of navigation, it should be fine.
Looks great @Sam Soffes
One suggestion. Maybe increase the height of the green capsule around the change numbers. Not a big change maybe 4-6 pixels each way.
That subtle highlight on the bottom of the blue menu bar suggests that the underlying cover image is on top. At least that's what I feel. There should be a shadow or just leave it out. Apart from that: slick work!
I wish there was a universal good source for logos. I'm doing the same thing for another app. Is there a way to see the change over time yet?
@Christoph Bach the system draws that on all navigation bars. We'll have to live with it :)
@Ketan Anjaria so far, this has been super helpful: http://www.brandsoftheworld.com
I think price could be on one line with the green change box to the right of it. It's an easier way to see the relation between the two. You see the price and how much it has increased instead of the increase...then what the price currently is.
Can't wait to get this on my phone, it's looking really slick so far.
What I think this misses that the current app has is to show you how much your shares earned or lost during the day. Love it otherwise.
@Christophe Tauziet it's exactly the same as the current version data-wise. That's the "Change" right there at the top in green.
@Sam Soffes @Ketan Anjaria Lately it seems like Wikipedia has been a fantastic resource for company logos in SVG http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Apple_logo_black.svg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Logo_NIKE.svg
@Sam Soffes Visually liking your design. For the large number at the bottom, what if you bumped up the font weight? Maybe not bold but a nice medium weight to give a slight further distinction from the other numbers. Also on the company logos, if you need help, I wouldn't mind spending a weekend helping you round them up or recreate a few. Hit me up.
