very very nice, this can only mean one thing...
Tweetbot + iOS7 = AWESOME
looking forward to it :)
Feel free to have a look here also ;)

I was wondering how you were going to execute this. Well done.
Can't wait to use this! Bet beta is looking good!
I'm really happy it doesn't follow that horrible so called "grid" to closely.
It might be the @1x, but the edge of the beak looks a little fuzzy, which won't matter on retina I suppose.
Great and interesting adaption of an already great icon for an otherwise quite bland OS. I can't wait to put this on my homescreen.
@Florian Pichler Grids are guidelines. I actually found them extremely helpful and made the process a lot of fun. I like design constraints as they keep me focused on other things. The beak was actually made from the 2 circles in the middle and then shifted down. :)
Wow, this actually looks great! Better than I thought was possible. I would lose some of the rim highlight effects and go with a more saturated/dark blue, but other than that I think it will fit at home nicely on iOS 7. :)
Still love the old bird :( Flats just not always cool!
Great execution though... Id like to perhaps see some little bit darker gradients through the blue part and perhaps a slightly larger centre squeaker speaker haha
I have to say it, the actual look of the app is awesome!!
Beautiful refinement of an already delightful icon.
Not sooo cool like the current, but hey its iOS 7 and this is how the icon looks…it fits very well into iOS 7.
What about the UI of Tweetbot and the other App Icons? ;)
Wow this looks fantastic. Can't wait for the update! :)
Here it is ! Best design app and best twitter app. What else ? ;)
@Mark Jardine This is beautiful and I was wondering what you Guys were going to do with the app and iOS7. I cannot wait to see the new version. Can I suggest something if you wouldn't mind? Would it be better if you shifted the eyes and beak up so as not to have it cut off at the bottom? Again, hope you don't mind a suggestion but as is, it looks great :)
I, for one, am glad more designers are using the grid instead of resisting it.
Being flexible to change and following guidelines while still looking distinctive is a skill you clearly have. In the end, those who resist are the ones who get left behind.
Great work Mark! I'm waiting for app now :)
It's brilliant but i wonder how it will look if the beak wasn't cut off
@Mark Jardine Nice work! Looking forward to the tweetbot update.
Great abuse of the grid with the beak! And kudos on keeping a tasteful amount of effects instead of going completely flat like the other guys.
How can I not like this? It would feel right at home on iOS 7.
That said, I think it would benefit from another iteration or two. The shadows seem out of place, and the colors a bit too muted. As in the past, I expect future icons to be influenced by this one. Definitely seems like you're well on your way :)
Nice.. Looking good Mark.
I miss the unbelievably perfect old icon. Beautiful apps like tweetbot are losing the gorgeous interfaces. I'm glad you decided to keep some subtle layer effects though instead of blindly following Apple's amateurish iconset.

Just a couple of suggested edits to the TB3 app icon.
Wait a sec...
