Los Angeles Lakers

So back in 1961 the LA Lakers introduced a logo with a fun-loving giraffe (seen top right) and soon after abandoned it. Let's face it, nobody really knows what a laker is, especially in LA, and a giraffe wouldn't add too much to the confusion.
