Are you trying to fit in with the standard Apple apps or deviate slightly? It's consistent with the Huzzah! mockups you've shown off so far, but it has much more depth to it than the stock icons Apple has released. The icon's background makes the it look rounded instead of flat (mostly due to the dark outer edges) and the text shadow on the logo is much stronger than any of the stock icons (Weather and Mail are the only ones I've noticed with any really).
Overall I think it's a great icon, but if you're looking to fit in w/ the stock iOS7 icons, I'd work on flattening it a bit more.
@James Wilson Yeah— I need to play with other options, but I think that is not about "flatness" but about depth with the new iOS 7 — Def will play with other alternatives, but again, this is first pass and I love the feedback so keep it coming! :)
Nice icon dude! You are doing a beautiful job on Huzzah!
@Andrea Cau Thanks man, we're def trying to looks "different" but we'll see what everyone else releases when ios7 is out, I'm intrigued :)
@Juan I think is an hard challenge to be different with these new iOS7 guidelines.
