Working on a little monogram for an event. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to letterforms.

This is sexy as hell. Love it.
thread that needle!
Very nice! I like this a lot.
Just a thought, but if you connected the stem of the 'B' to the 'C' on the top side in both places they overlap, and left the gap on the underside to act as a shadow (like you did with the loop on the 'B') it might feel more solid.
@Ben Didier Thanks man! That's a great idea.
Wow, I love the loop!
@Ben Didier I ended up doing something a little different but it worked out great » http://d.pr/i/6gH3
For consistency, I would narrow the terminals of the C down to the width of the thin serifs in the B. Or work out some other kind of thick/thin consistency between the two forms. You n00b ;-)
@Dave Bailey Good call! Totally am a noob at this.
update looks even better! nice job man.
@Michael: totally, I like that revision a lot better. Nice work.
What a beautiful texture?
@Michael Smith for somebody who has no idea what there doing with letter forms this is pretty sexy. thick and thin consistency could be sorted out a bit more, but this is great

I'm making an invitation suite and someone asked if I could make a notecard so that they could inclue some of their own messages with the invite, here's what I came up with.
