I like it, although I'm not sure if it looks "bear" enough. Getting rid of the line below the nose might help.

I like the a lot. I'm assuming you a filter in Illustrator? If this is a direction you decide to go with, it might really take it over the top if you did it by hand.

Logo, Font & Lettering Bible has a really good section on how to do that.

The type doesn't bother me so much, but when outlined, the actual bear reads as more of a Polar Bear than a Grizzly Bear.

Like! I think the key to bear might be in the ear shape?

@Evan - ah yes, i see what you mean, but i'm afraid if i fill it that it'll be too heavy you know? but ill try it.

@Nicole - yes haha that might be it. ill mess with it a bit.

Yeah, worth a shot. Might throw the whole composition off balance at that point like you're saying, but maybe you could tweak the type to counteract that as well? Just spitballin'.

Sorry for my fuzzy undeserving hack job Bryan. Just thought the fuller face, and light colored snout would make it even "grizzlier"?!

Grizzly bears are wild and unpredictable. Some aggression through movement and sharper edges could bring your mark to life.
