Wonderful play of lights and darks. Maybe add more focal lighting on the icing so the icing has more depth. All the shines are making it a little flat compared to the roundness of the cake/wrapper.
Following the white cup edge/ribbon from right to left I think the dark shadow below - which create the depth of the cup - changes position. On the right it should be a little higher, center it should be in the middle and on the left side most of them should be moved to the right pointing to the back corner of the cup ribbon. I think.
YUM!! I love the detail in the frosting! Excellent details! One comment though, the texture on the wrapper from the cupcake seems to show through. I'm not sure it's the right texture for the paper wrapper.
Thanks for the comments guys. As for the icing, it might be a bit 'sharp', i wasn't trying to do the glossy, melty kind of icing though. This is more like the Meringue, Hardened kind of stuff that you decorate cakes with.
@Lasse i think you are right, i'll make some adjustments, thanks :)
@Sarah that's actually intentional, I looked at a cupcake, and the paper wrapper on this one was slightly opaque, showing the cake texture underneath.
This has a totally unique vibe to it man, the textures and shapes are consistent and classy. It's got that touch-able feel that the softfacade icons have, but it feels much more like it was hand crafted, Very nice!

That icing just made me lick my screen.
Something about where the wrapper meets the cake seems off to me, though.

Looks papery :P It's really crisp and awesomely done, but it doesn't really look that food-like, haha.

Beautiful, but the lighting on the frosting looks really inaccurate to me. I feel like it's too shiny!
