I feel the old Google logo is starting to get outdated with their current style being minimalistic and flat so i decided to make the logo more modern but at the same time keep the features that makes the logo extremely recognisable for example the colours and the fancy 'g'
The rest of the layout has been designed to work with computers, tablets and mobile devices.

My favorite thing here is the sidebar concept. That's one UI pattern that I think would work great across more Google products, especially to replace the top black bar that's on most products now.
Very nice! :) Welcome!
Welcome to dribbble... I knew you would be a great draft! :)
@Önder Vincent Koç Thanks :)
Interesting concept. Welcome @Tom
I'm looking forward to see more of your work.
@Adrian Brand Thanks!
That is one nice looking sidebar @Tom Broadhurst. Welcome to dribbble.
I'm not sure how successful this is. Overall, the logomark and logotype feel quite heavy, which is counter to Google's goal of feeling "lightweight". Perhaps trying a thinner weight for the type, and fewer colors for the "g" would help. Also, I don't think Google would have Facebook and Twitter social feeds on the home page.
@Chanpory Rith Thanks for your feedback. This was my first UI/Web design, I am always trying to improve. :)
Nice work Tom, welcome! But the google's current brand is so perfect!
@Roland Balogh Thank you! and i don't think they will ever change it, its too iconic.
