Playing Arts - Future
Playing Arts is a collective art project where designers and illustrators from all over the world express their vision of an ordinary playing card using personal styles, techniques and imagination.
I have been invited to participate in the Playing Arts Future challenge by designing 2 of Clubs for a deck of playing cards. We were asked to imagine what the world would be like a hundred years from now, this is my take on it;
A hundred years from now, existence is very effortless; no restrictions on ways of being, of time and place. One can be anything and experience what it’s like to be any type of life form; be any age in a chosen point in time and go anywhere free of country borders through enhanced virtual reality. Mundane discomforts of every day life no longer exist; we live eternally with pleasure, following our deepest passions and curiosity.
