In the Wood

I was honored to be asked to contribute a piece for Forest Giant's "Wild Echoes" art show in Louisville, KY this month.

I don't often "freestyle" artwork like this, especially at any kind of large scale. I also don't do a lot of blackletter work, so this was kind of an exercise in seeing how well I could avoid ruining a perfectly good canvas.

If you're thinking this reads funny, I just didn't have time for any more S's in my life (or room, oops). So I named the piece "In the Wood" to sound like it was intentional or something...
