The client ask for black & white - check, wanted horizontal - check, had to be unisex - check, bold - check, no hipster fonts or arrows - check. For a website that helps you find local chefs in your area - the frying pan doubles as a magnifying glass. Pretty clever I thought. Not clever enough, I guess. Can you tell I'm a little bitter ;)
