UBIK naming
A key part to branding is Naming. We did an extensive (and urgent) work of study, collection and validation and finally we kept the winner; a short, sound, memorable, apparent and easy to remember name: UBIK.
Ubik. from Latin ubique, the root of ubiquity (omnipresence)
- In botany or zoology, a ubiquitous organism is one that occupies all geographic areas of the globe.
- in technology, it is said of when we can be connected to the network at all times, no matter where.
- in theology, a deity that is present everywhere at the same time..
We found the concept super powerful because it encapsulates the idea that globality and how joint actions contribute to making the world a safer place for everyone.
