Excellent, Veerle. I like the quill instead of a pencil.

Thanks :) I decided to go for simple flat color icons because Tyze uses a colorful palette already. Adding colorful icons on top would not suit that well and it would have probably been too much.

I pasted the icons as shape layers in Photoshop from Illustrator, because I draw a bit faster in Illustrator. The client wanted the icons 2 x 2 inches at 300 dpi so they can be used for print as well. So I figured Photoshop vector-based is the way to go. Though, I tweaked the smaller ones here a bit to the pixel so they don't look fuzzy.

Is the Tyze logo your design as well? It’s especially gorgeous in its full-colour version.

Great work Veerle, I dig the flat icons and especially the use of the quill instead of a pencil, as Dan mentioned. The Tyze logo, while somewhat visually complicated, actually looks great here and on the website.

My kind of icons: clean, bold, solid, simple shapes.
