Worked on this homepage a bit more. Tried a white topbar instead of the dark blue one in my previous shot

Looks very good! I especially like the blue part with subtle background image on the left.
Some comments though:
1) Apart from the green buttons the site is close to flat design. Why not try and change the buttons to flat versions? In addition, the text in the buttons is a bit off --> move slightly down.
2) The navigation is a bit off too (not in the middle of the top bar.) --> move it a bit down.
3) Slider pagination could be changed to flat too, alongside with the buttons.
I agree with Jussi. Also, try varying line lengths (with real content) to see what that does to your design.
@Jussi Virtanen I kinda agree with you about the flat buttons, but I'm not a huge fan of making everything really flat. I kinda like some elements which stand out more, and have some kind of styling. It's really the mix that works for me:)
Looks great! I personally like the mix between flat & subtle gradients too. Makes it stand out more.
