I have the same concerns as Eric. Also it might just be a bit too overglossed for my tastes, but that's just me! ;) I can tell that there are lots of little subtle details that the gloss is making hard to see. (like that nice edge around the perimeter)
Also, it should be noted that light is shining on the main form from the left, but on the buttons (the slider especially) from the right. Little details.

The inner purist doesn't want me to like this. Yes, visually this is cool, but is it better? It's got a very early digital/analogue feel to it, reminds me of mini-disc players, and that I like.

Nice design, I think it'd be quite a bit better if everything was toned down slightly. Less round, less shiny, less small. I'd love to see a rebound from yourself with a less drastic approach.

Looks great! Not my personal cup of tea... it's a bit too glossy and dark, but otherwise, it's wonderfully executed.

Overall I agree with the comments. The gradient goes too dark and the icons could be a pinch larger. It would also be cool to see a semi-transparent version for when the user is not interacting with it.
